Hygiene Drive: Benefits West Allegheny Food Pantry
The West Allegheny Food Pantry serves over 200 families each month. Given the pandemic, this number is higher. Our neighbors and friends living in the West Allegheny School District are in need.
You can help! The clientele of the Food Pantry are not able to purchase essential items such as soap and shampoo with government assistance.
During the season of Lent, we will be receiving donations on behalf of the West Allegheny Food Pantry. A bin will be placed outside the church on Friday evenings from 5pm to 7:30pm AND Sunday mornings from 9am to 11:30am. Other collection bins are at Donaldson Community Center and West Allegheny Library.
Let's be generous to our neighbors! Together we can make a difference.
Here is a list of desired items:
- single bars of bath soap
- shampoo & conditioner
- individually wrapped toothbrushes
- toothpaste
- dental floss
- razors
