The West Allegheny Food Pantry serves over 200 families a month.  We support of The Food Pantry throughout the year.  

During the season of Lent (the days leading up to Easter), we host a Hygiene Drive. Hygiene items cannot be purchased with snap benefits. To address this tangible need we collect donations of hygiene items. Collection bins will be at Mosaic, The Donaldson Community Center and the West Allegheny Library.  

The Food Pantry has indicated that single wrapped items (rather than bulk) are easiest to distribute and transport.  Here are some suggestions for what to provide:

• Toothpaste 1.5 - 6.2 oz.
• Shampoo 30 oz.
• Conditioner 30 oz. 
• Razors
• Toothbrush (single)
• Dental Floss (single)
• Soap (single)
• Deodorant 2.6 or more oz.

Dates for 2026 Hygenie Drive: 2.18.26 (Ash Wednesday) - 4.5.26 (Easter Sunday).
