In collaboration with our mission partner, Uncommon Grounds Cafe, Mosaic is offering a four-part seminar entitled, Learning to Listen for Change. The goal of this seminar is for participants to be discipled in understanding a Biblical framework for cultural sensitivity and racial unity.
This is an interactive class, we encourage in-person participation; however, we understand not everyone can gather in person at this time. Therefore, we will offer the opportunity to audit the class on Zoom.
For in-person participation please bring your own beverage and comply with CDC guidelines- social distance, properly wear a mask, and stay home if sick.
All registrants will receive the zoom link, in case there is a week you are unable to attend in-person.
This teaching will take place on four Saturday mornings from 8:30am - 11:30am. The classes build on one another, you are encouraged to participate in as many as you are able.
week 1: 2.27 Foundations of Listening
week 2: 3.6 Racial Trigger Words & Historical Context
week 3: 3.20 Bridges Out of Poverty
