Mosaic Anglican Church in the Pittsburgh area is prayerfully seeking a new Rector to lead us into our next season of ministry and growth. Mosaic is a vibrant, Spirit-led congregation with a heart to engage the world with Christ’s love through authentic community, discipleship, and mission.
We are seeking a Christ-centered leader who demonstrates strong yet humble leadership, loves preaching and teaching the Word of God, and is warm, relational, and community oriented. The ideal candidate will shepherd our congregation with pastoral wisdom, inspire and equip a largely volunteer-driven church, and partner faithfully with the Vestry and the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh. A desire to live locally and invest deeply in the life of the community is essential.
The Rector’s responsibilities include preaching and teaching, vision casting, worship leadership, pastoral care, and encouraging the spiritual formation and missional engagement of the congregation. While prior service as a Rector is preferred, qualified clergy with a clear sense of call are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications: Master of Divinity or equivalent and Ordination to the Priesthood
Interested candidates are invited to review our Parish Profile. Please submit a letter of interest, résumé, and links to three sermons to the Rector Search Committee Chair, Terri Burkert, at tlburkert@hotmail.com. Reference information will be requested at a later stage.
