WHY The West Allegheny Food Pantry serves over 200 families a month. There is great need in our community. Unfortunately, essential hygiene items cannot be purchased with food stamps. The Food Pantry is not able to readily stock their shelves with these items. In effort to care for those in need, let us remember a few simple items the next time we go to the grocery store.
WHEN Wednesday, February 26 - Saturday, April 4
WHAT The Food Pantry has expressed that single wrapped items rather than bulk are easiest to distribute and transport. Here are some suggestion for what to provide:
- Toothpaste 1.5 - 6.2 oz.
- Shampoo 30 oz.
- Conditioner 30 oz.
- Toothbrush (single)
- Dental Floss (single)
- Soap (single)
- Deodorant 2.6 oz. or more
WHERE Leave your items in a bag either on your front porch or near your mailbox.
Someone will be by to pick up items on Saturday, April 4.
- Mosaic Church: 140 Imperial Plaza Drive, Imperial PA 15126. The church will be open on Sundays from 8:30 am to 11:30 am only for drop off of items. Sunday, March 22 & 29 there will only be Facebook Live Worship Services offered.
